Companies conducting mass layoffs without feeling the heat from media. Before 2019, if a company had mass layoffs it will be the headline of the news. It became a new normal now and I hope for the sakes of everyone it changes.

It’s still a headline news if a big company does it.
Of course, many jobs are made redundant during the times of financial crises. If there is no downturn and yet there are news of people being fired, it would make bigger news.
