For layman - Live weather tracking of major Indian cities For tech apps - they can include the Weather API (which is free) and use for respective use cases.
Like delivery apps Swiggy Zepto will add a rain surcharge, without them physically present in that city.
How Deepinder in Gurgaon will know its raining at Kormangala, through this 💁♀️ (and slap a 15 surcharge for all ordering there)

While Zomato has opened it up for free, once it has gained enough acceptance and model has a better accuracy rate, they will find a way to monetize it. Like the way Zomato now charges a platform fee of INR 5. Given that Blinkit is seeing higher order values, with a weather prediction app they will a better control on their operations and will be able to charge a premium
