How about Stop wasting time on internet and learning some valuable skill(s)? I have seen ads by govt for developer’s job with age restriction of 60 yrs.
In today’s world the opportunities are immense, but need to be taken.

Keep learning and you'll never be unemployed or unemployable in life.

If needed, take a break from job for a couple of years, and do some distance program Masters to justify the career gap, and utilize the 2 years of free time at home to study hard and make your skills kick-ass. Then join back to a job at a better company and better position based on your new skills, after two years.

They key to life-long employability is life-long learning.
