What's your view on the ongoing protest in Ladakh?
Sonam wangchuck the real life Phunksukh Wangdu has not eaten anything other than water and salt since the last 18 days. He demands the 6th schedule to be implemented in Ladakh, which was promised by the BJP. In my opinion, it should be implemented in Ladakh as it will give power to the regional government to protect their natural resources and also their local tribe population. But none of the BJP spokespersons have met him yet. He is a real life hero and should be heard
Sadly the apathy and the silence of the government is deafening. A non-issue for them at best because they have bigger fish to fry.
Not really. It's a lobbying market for them and has lots of money to be made profiting off the natural resources of the sensitive area. In front of that, human lifes aren't worth shit for the politicians
Sad reality is none of the mainstream media is clutching to this story.
I strongly feel if this story comes in limelight, BJP will be forced to come forward for negotiation/discussions
And we all know Godi Media will not cover this.
The dictatorship started in 2014, and now we are realising that. BJP should not come into power again otherwise India will be same as Russia/ China.
Sonam Wangchuk is the Kejriwal of Ladakh.
He's making noise because elections are near and his bosses didn't give him the Magsaysay award for sitting silently on such occasions.
No one cares about his drama because people in general know this except the liberals in whose circles he's celebrated because he(duh!) inspired some movie character in a movie sponsored by the same bosses.
"Sonam Wangchuck, the pride of Ladakh! Unrelenting spirit, that's how change happens. BJP, tum Mile toh hum hain, na bolo toh tum nahi."
