I am a CA. Usually you have only salary income and know basic tax structure you can do it by yourself. Income tax portal sync the data from form 16 and does the job. And if you have done any heavy transactions please do not try to do by your self. If you have any specific doubts or need consultancy you can dm me. Happy to help

You can. The fields just won’t be populated.
All you have to do is add the details in when you’re filing the taxes; all fields are editable.

If you only have a salary income , dont think u need any CA . Your company might have considered evrything already based on your proofs and generated the form16. Everything will be autopopulated in income tax portal , u just need to verify and submit.

Unless you want to do some deductions manipulations which the CAs know based on current trends .
