Why?
Am I the only one who feels that posts asking for company review and resume reviews are degrading the experience here?
When I open the app and see those things, it definitely makes me close the app since I will lose the interest in scrolling further.
I understand that reviews on companies and resume would be really helpful. But, it's better to reach out to previous employees of a company directly to get a good picture, and similarly find a way to get the resume reviewed as well.
isn't that the moat of grapevine? andar ki baatein?
I agree to that, but what if everyone starts doing the same? The feed would be just full of such posts. And most of them are being posted under multiple categories, and usually end up getting zero or very less responses
And how do you do that? How do you reach out to people working in different companies? While I don't feel the same as you about seeing company reviews, I am genuinely curious on how people do this. This is the first social media platform that I have come across where I find real people and genuine conversations instead of influencers trying to make money everywhere.
LinkedIn is available, so does other platforms like Twitter. I extensively used Glassdoor and AmbitionBox. I filtered the reviews based on dates. I faced the exact same things just like what was on those reviews.
