Why do you think Byju’s is falling?
Apart from unethical sales practices, toxic work culture and mindless accusations, what do you think went wring with Byju’s.
[2011- 2021] Employees at 22b $ valuation: upto 10K
[2022 - 2024] Between this period byjus employees count went upto 50k and within a year came down back to original.
[2024] Employees at 3b $ valuation: 12k
So what went wrong in 2022 and 2023 ?
The Answer to this is CORPORATE MAFIA You can identify them from their operation
Middle management everywhere moves in groups primarily because of comfort zone.
I don’t know why the valuation fall is linked with employees. Need some more empirical data.
Valuation 🍁 fall coz of unethical selling, not focusing on problem statement and chasing valuation at cost of tweaking biz model. India itself is huge then what was the need to go to usa, sa etc. Divya gokulnath and VCs brought Byju raveendran down. Never trust a gal just coz she gives u sxx
So it’s a founder-led problem, not employees cohort?
Moreover, how can we forget when covid came everyone started believing EdTech is the only way to go forward. Why we are missing the external environment factors? Isn’t VC is all about future potential? Not discounting the ethical issues with founders.
Very interesting You're saying the same set of mid level/top level execs are aligned and move across together, making good money for themselves?
This could be possible, but seems slightly farfetched to think they are organized like that.
Search Byjus Leadership on Linkedin and you would start noticing the hierarchy.
