Why is Hyderabad becoming a cheap outsourcing capital?
Hyderabad in the early 90s was a prime spot for software engineers, some of them who went to the US to establish businesses there, successfully.
Of late, the switch has turned and companies now prefer Hyderabad for its affordability and cheap availability of talent with the Many Indian metros.
While this might create opportunities, this also leads to stagnation in terms of ideas and rampant exploitation. One reason why this is happening is possibly because of the cheap labor and human capital available from remote towns and villages of Andhra and Telangana
One of the main reason for companies opening office in the Hyderabad is cost of land acquisition is really low / literally free as well in few cases. As Hyderabad government is trying to make Hyderabad as next IT hub in India after Bangalore. With Bangalore being over crowded and become highly expensive from the cost of living front like rent and all. Hyderabad government is trying to use this opportunity to make Hyderabad as go to option for IT company. That's reason Amazon and other companies are having office's there and also cost of living is less compare to Bangalore and mumbai.
Isn't the case with India in general. Not specifically Hyderabad. The service companies thrived because of cheap human capital.
The extremely high no. of engineering colleges in both states and the available #graduates might be a big source of cheap labour.
