Woke HRs

HRs in my company are so woke they've now added gender neutral washrooms. Already have a feeling this will become a new makeout spot for office couples.

You have your washroom anyways, what’s bothering you here?

And weird connection to make that this will become a make out spot, I get it that’s a joke but what & why again?

My problem is not with having gender neutral washrooms. My problem is with the distractions this kind of activities bring in. Today it's the washroom, tomorrow it'll be something else but a company with 1000s of employees will re-shape itself just so that 1 turd can feel comfortable. And even after doing 100s of these gymnastics when a company misses 1 edge case. That turd will go out of its way to announce to the world how the company is not inclusive, they'll ensure to victimize themselves and make money in that process. It's very hard to fire these turds because when you fire them for incompetence they think they got fired for being turd and create a scene for it.

When a company focuses on anything but making money, it's already lost its purpose and on the path to slow and public humiliating death.

Gender neutral washrooms seem basic enough considering there’s evidence that typical division into male and female isn’t completely right.

I see your point about pandering to the crowd and losing the way out, and like you said ppl might complain about random thing that hasn’t made them feel inclusive in some vague sense. But that aside, we need to cater to basic needs of folks to make them feel inclusive irrespective.

Having a gender neutral washroom was controversial 15years ago, seems all fine and in line with the present status quo right. Just that we have to talk about these things on a case to case basis instead of generalising

Name and shame the company. HR needs to be fired or the company will probably go out of business in few months

The company will not go out of business because it's on track to clock a 'B' in revenue in the next 5 years.

The outcome we have here is because someone in the HR dept had to justify their existence in company and their salary and wanted to make noise hoping it gets them a double digit appraisal this year.

We have it. On each floor. In each office. Across the globe
