Kalki: A Mixed Bag with an Environmental Message
I recently saw Kalki with a friend, and the movie left me with mixed feelings. While the environmental message was clear and impactful, the stretched runtime and unsatisfying cliffhanger ending (clearly setting up a part two) left much to be desired.
The film's core message resonated deeply: it's a stark warning to humanity to mend its ways before it's too late. The Earth's resources – water, air, and food – are not infinite, and the movie portrays the dangers of neglecting our planet. As the saying goes, "We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children." Kalki compels us to become more conscientious caretakers of our environment.
While the environmental message was commendable, the movie's pacing and excessive length hindered the overall experience. Perhaps the impactful message could have been delivered in a tighter timeframe, leaving a more lasting impression.

For some, talking in a meeting can be very easy and natural, but for some, this might look like a big task. A team that creates an open environment and seniors who are welcoming and not bossy are extremely important. I have seen people with good ideas and sensible POVs keeping quiet in a meeting because they were cautious of being judged by their colleagues and seniors who wouldn't stop making jokes on juniors to be the funny ones in the room.

Hey folks,

I'm currently working for a US client and I am 100% billable to them if that information matters. According to the offer letter, the notice period is of 90 days but there's a buyback option where one can choose to pay and not serve the notice period. But from what I've heard, it's up to Capgemini to accept that buyback offer or not.

So I've recently received an offer from a Singapore based startup and I told them that I can join in 30 days cuz if I hadn't, they wouldn't have even interviewed me in the first place. 
They're okay with buying back my 1 month and let me serve 30 days but I'm concerned what if Capgemini refuses to let me leave.

What are my options here? Can I tell them that I'm leaving company due to some personal/health issues so I can get an early release. Do I need to involve a lawyer?

So i started working with zee5 as a Smart TV developer right out of college. After about 2 years , in March 2024 , layoffs happened due the merger between Sony and Zee was called off.

So i was looking  for Software developer opportunities , after multiple rejections , hundreds of application, got a decent offer from To The New for the same position of Smart TV developer . I am also getting some raise on the previous CTC , which i am glad considering the current market situation.

So i just wanted to ask about the org To The New , how its work culture is ? Also like what are the growth prospects there ? Also since technically it provides service to other big techs.So will it be an issue if i want to switch to a better product based company.
