Ask Grapeviners
I was ready to share Bank statements where my client company credited salary. I shared the email I'd but they didn't write an email.
Does that mean my BCG is not verified ? I shared Birth certificate, pan card, aadhar card and driving license also. I shared whatever experience certificate I received. Yet they asked me to leave due to BCG. Do you think it's fair? They didn't pay my one month salary also.

What advice will you give to someone torn between working for money and working for dreams?
A senior of mine, took a job with 30% paycut after being laid off earlier this year. The work is okay, but no growth from what he can see (service based company problems)
He has a casual offer to move to Bangalore and work for a friend's seed funded startup. The pay maybe significantly lesser than what he is making right now (so further paycut), but the work is a dream role, will get to shape and build the product basically immense growth.
Bangalore is an expensive city, less money will be another concern.
For background, he is 33M, not married, working remotely from his hometown so saving on rent too.

Indian Startups

Hey, smart folks. Lend me a couple of tips to tread this landscape. I've had a weird start, or so I feel.
TLDR; A fresher, interned at a place with bad management but good pay and intensive work, took a couple risks for a few months, got another job, and need tips since am leading the frontend website team in the new startup.
So, here is the scene, the story of my life.
I joined college in December 2020, for B.E. in Information Science and Engineering.
And everything was going well, till I found an opportunity for an internship during 6th semester, and my joy knew no bounds, since nothing mattered more to me than not burdening my dad back home for money every month.
It was 15k at the start, but the startup barely had any employees, so we interns were doing full time stuff. I was working mostly on the frontend aspects, majorly on the React Native apps for the startup, and assisting other interns as well for the NextJS based website development. Which is where I honed my skills and learning in a couple different technologies, and my stipend increased to a little more than double the former value after 3 months.
But as we were in the 8th semester, I had decided that I won't sit for college placements for any CTC less than 10. And a company, let's say B, came for the same value, I sat for it, and cracked the offer. Meanwhile the startup I was interning at, let's call it A, on knowing the same, offered me a slightly better offer.
I kept B on hold for sometime, till I received the official letter from A, less than promised but still the in hand was much better. So I rejected B. Now the only thing is, A had really really bad management, and one day, things went to such an extent that I had to leave it as well. I resigned, took a lot of mental energy to come to a conclusion, but I did.
Cause I felt it in my guts that if I would continue working in A, I'd never be able to have time to learn and progress. They had no schedule at all.
And I stayed jobless for a while. Graduated at the start of June 2024, having resigned from A in March 2024, which my parents were fine with, at least that's what they said, but everyone around told me that I made 2 really bad choices.
But tbh, by the end of July 2024, I cracked another offer. The pay is a little less, comparatively, but the work life balance is amazing. And due to my intensive work in A, I am leading the website frontend team here. They were looking out to hire a senior, but I cracked the job. And I love it here, at least for now. I enjoy being in charge.
Although I try to make sure it does not go to my head. And I try to learn everyday.
I would love to have you experienced folks share a few tips with me.
This is my first post, I know it's kinda long, but yeah, it is what it is. Thanks for reading.
