Governor of India just introduced Unified Pension Scheme for government employees. At times when it will become very difficult for corporate employees to survive after age of 40-45 in post AI world, this assured pension which was stopped after 2004 has been reintroduced. This will bring back the charm of government job which existed in 1970s-80s . In 70s and 80s, private jobs were synonymous with lack of job security. Globalization brought heavy salaries in corporate world and helped in reducing charm of govt job. Now, in 3-4 years, AI is going to cause huge change in corporate world thereby causing huge uncertainty. What do you people think?

Hey guys, Iam currently working as a government employee and wants to get into private sector (majorly analyst roles ). Please guide me regarding my approach towards interviews and how to get an interview in first place as I don't have any experience in private sector and iam 24yr old graduated from tier 1 college. I have worked on my skills required for an analyst job i.e SQL, Python ,Excel and PowerBI. But couldn't show my skills as i don't have any prior experience.

My parents are asking me to prepare for government exams and get enrolled in SSC coaching. I want to know what are the perks and benefits of government jobs that make people want it so badly. My parents both work for a private company, and I do not find anything wrong with working for a private firm. I like their lifestyle but they keep pushing me to go for government jobs only. What is so good about government jobs in India?

I was just curious to know how many total government employees are there in India? If we include the military services, both state and central government employees, what would be the total percentage of government employees in our working population?

I have offer from one of the company from bangalore and I was planning to move to bangalore next month. But I am worried about this new reservation law. This law can create divide and can even lead to violence amongst locals and people from other states.

I was so happy that my hard work payed off and I got promotion. Looked into the promotion slip only to realize government ate all that with taxes. Now I am wondering why did I even work that hard 🥲

Just a thought that came to my mind. Looking at the current water crisis in Karnataka will the government be looking to raise water in exchange of some equity .😂😂😂😂

I never thought that any government would take such initiatives to promote delicacy, which has been there in the culture for a long period of time. I really want to thank the Karnataka government for supplying Rasam directly from tap instead of water.
