Hello GV folks, Have been working in sales for the last 3 years(post MBA - Tier 1 college) and I am basically tired now of all the headache that comes with it, weekly reviews, bashings from both customers as well as internal higher management in case numbers are not happening, which gets very abusive and taxing at times. I have been evaluating if Michael Page would be a good career move and would it be possible to come back to tech/program management if I get into C-suite recruitment. Need guidance, pls help??

From where do recruiters at MP get their sense of entitlement from? They're at best above average grads from below average b schools in India selling their souls to meet a commercial target. That's it! And by the way, theirs is not the only sales job. A consulting partner does sales every day of the week - most of them are extremely humble. You don't need to be an asshole to do sales Even at my worst, I'd never engage with them. And definitely would never hire any one of them if they come to me Btw this isn't a case of sour 🍇. I'm secure in my life and do not see myself engaging with them. Had spoken to couple of them back when I was a consultant

I was interviewing with a D2C startup and the recruiter from Michael Page was extremely friendly and helpful till she suddenly ghosted me. Don't understand why the HR would ignore me completely rather than give a firm Yes/No. Is ghosting a common practice among the likea of MP as well?
