Experience with BNY Mellon ?

I'm currently a final year cse student at tier-1 College. I just got placed in Deutsche Bank for Analyst role - Technology, data and innovation division. I wanted to know how's the work culture in investment banking companies especially in Deutsche Bank if anyone's working there. I have heard a lot of negatives reviews regarding the work in IB's.

I have an offer from BNP Paribas Bangalore for ALMT IT Division for C# Dot Net Developer. Has anyone worked in this division as a Software Engineer? What is your work experience and how good or bad is the work culture?

It might sound like an age-old comparison. But I am a B.Tech fresher out of college and want to know what are the pros and cons of working in Banking firms like JPMC, GS, and the pros and cons of working in Product-based companies like Google, Zomato. Of course it'll depend on a lot of factors, but I want to gain an insight from the experienced folks.

business/finance major, graduated in 2019, been working for 3yrs and 10 months, have doubled my salary since I started my career in 2019. Exploring options- masters in India only as abroad is expensive and doesn't make any sense in today's market. Have seen the fintech space closely boom as a 20y.o fresh out of college, and since then I've worked across sme financing, education financing, b2b credit card payments and now again back to education financing for a traditional nbfc. My roles have varied from strategy and operations, to investor relations/nbfc treasury to product management (current role) I wanted some advice/opinion from the community whether to continue on my career path or switch to masters- take a break of 18 months study from a great school and get back in the industry. Also, if I explore the later one then apart from the isbs and IIMs of the world are there even good 1 year mba programs in india?

In the final rounds for Digital Marketing position. So wanted to understand about the company culture and mainly their runway.

Hi all, I am a recent BCA graduate , from tier 3 college. I was hoping that i would get a chance to work on amazing techstack when i joined Deloitte but unfortunately they onboarded me pretty late and i had already rejected offers for few organisations for the role of SDE, junior AI/ML associate and so on in the respective field. I did this because i was hoping that Big4 is a better place to learn and grow. When i joined in Feb 23 i was given training on Software Testing where i don’t have interest and i tried reaching higher ups but they told i might get a chance to work on tech i am interested in when i get projects. So i pursued this and got project on Testing as well, there also people said if you want to work on other areas there is no guarantee but you can help the developers as well and learn. Maybe you will get the chance to shift from QA but no guarantee. I am so frustrated with my current position, wherever i am applying they are not hiring me for the reason of having irrelevant experience and i can’t do internships as my family condition is not good and i have to constantly support them. I am stuck between quitting and taking a break due to financial problems but if i continue this how will i build relevant experience and switch to a different organisation. I request everyone to kindly help me getting a clarity, what should i do ? Can anyone help me get a different job role somewhere else? I am open to work in the field of Data and AI , Analytics as well.

Current CTC is 25lpa. 6yrs of experience started as data analyst then as business Analyst. Have been working as machine learning engg for past 2 years in series c funded product based company. My work is mostly related to model scaling, maintainability and reproducibility. Do you think, is lower, on par or more than market rate. (Also if anyone is hiring, I can share more details)

I worked for the first 3 years of my career as an SDE at a bank. I was allocated to an internal tooling team which meant that I got no exposure to cloud technologies like AWS, architectures like microservices and frameworks like Spring Boot which are in high demand today. I wasn't even allowed a team change in that bank. To compensate for this lack of experience, I created a basic project from scratch involving these technologies. But still, my resume is not getting shortlisted at any premier company for SDE/SDE2 positions. I would really appreciate if you guys could please suggest a way forward for me and help me out. Management has tried to underpay us all this time. We deserve to know what is the real salaries for our YOE? I am being paid 24.6L CTC / 2 YOE. What about you?
