I lost myself

Hello everyone, I'm 31 years old and work as a software engineer in Bangalore with a salary package of 11 lakhs. I'm currently unmarried and have been struggling with depression for the past three years due to family issues and other personal challenges. I find myself feeling extremely lonely, having no close friends or confidants to talk to. There have been times when I've even contemplated suicide. I'm feeling lost and uncertain about my life's direction. I desperately need someone to talk to and share my feelings with. Please, if anyone is willing to listen, I would greatly appreciate it."

Dude this is pretty normal, I know a lot of my friends have had this thought. However, do not feel so dejected that you loose the sense of your life. I would recommend you do couple of things - 1. Start by going to some temple or place where you find some peace ( talk to your god, cry and surrender) 2. Work on your self - your body by running or playing, your skills by joining a course or self study 3. Talk to your near ones - it could be old friends, work colleagues, your siblings or even parents 4. Finally find a good therapist and try giving him a visit
