How to get in to product companies from service based with 5 to 6 years of exp

I'm currently working as DSE at Infosys from june 2022 ,i am willing to make a switch to a product based company, but I'm getting almost no interview calls, only calls that i get are mostly from small startups. Can anyone suggest me on how to secure interviews

Hi I am working in one of the service based company for 2 years now. My regular tasks include Web,api and Android penetration testing. But I want to improve my skills and also want to get into some product based company. I am trying out from tryhackme for now. But I need more suggestions on road map and also could you please share you interview experience at product based companies for pentesters

I am a software engineer with 2+years of experience at a product based company. My current CTC is around 10 lpa which I feel is below market standards. Also my wlb is terrible and growth at my current organisation has become stagnant. I mostly work on bug fixes and some minor feature enhancements. What are the skills that are required to switch to a product based company as soon as possible with at least 15-17 lpa ? Currently I am not aiming for big tech ( FAANG) type companies as I know these will require thorough DSA , System design preparations which is not possible with my current job.

I am a backend developer working in java. I am working in the same company for the last 7+ years. How should I prepare for interviews? Should I focus on ds and algo, core java concepts or only system design is asked at this level? PS - not fixed on FAANG. Just want to join a good product company

Hi I have been recently laid off from my company they have given me a reason as a lack in my performance overtime although that's not entirely true but to some extent it is. I think according to my experience as SDE around 4.5 years.I don't have skills and knowledge one should have. I am a SDE 2 sometimes I think I still work and have skills as SDE 1 now I am looking for change Struggling with this thought of how to pick myself up as this condition is self inflicted How to get back ? What to prepare to switch from a Service based company to a Product based company after having 5 years of work experience?

Currently I am trying to switch from service based company to better environment hopefully product based companies. Thing here is I am not getting any interview calls (I may blame 90days notice) but how product based companies hire… like i am checking naukari. It’s full of consulting companies mostly or service based companies. LinkedIn I could see some job posts but not actually hearing back from them(maybe skill issue) . So like from where these product companies hire ??? Anyone know any leads.

I have been working with Infosys for past 5years(total exp) and my current salary is 20LPA CTC. I work on Apple projects and the work has become repetitive over the last three years, primarily focusing on Java, Spring, Microservices, and Elasticsearch. I really want to join a product company now, for better compensation and more engaging work, but I’m uncertain how to proceed. I’ve just been writing APIs and scheduled jobs, and at this point I think I know nothing beyond it. The thought of facing the interview processes of tech giants for senior roles is daunting. Where should I start from? How do I regain my competence?
