Change of Domain

Is it good path to switch the carrier from Devops to Data Analyst? Need a guidance from people. I have been stuck in this mess for quite long time.

I'm working on a Support project from the last 2.5yrs and there is no growth. So, I have decided to change the domain to the DevOps side. Is this Domain good? Please give ur valuable suggestions Thanks

Data analyst (1.5 yoe) working mostly in query developments and power bi here. Can't hope for further growth in my current company (too much hierarchy). Currently brushing up python skills to boost up my resume. Any suggestion from experienced folks is highly appreciated.

I have 2.5 years of experience on CCM technologies(primarily OpenText Exstream) but am not satisfied with it as it's not open source, I am not able to learn it from anywhere on the internet in free hours or while on bench and the project work is the same repetitive type of work. So thinking of switching in the DevOps or Data analytics domain. But not able to fix which one to choose. Please guide me which has good career growth in future and how to proceed. I am 32, and I am currently working in IT support (Incident/problem management. I have currently working in my company for 7 years, and I am currently very much underpaid even though my managers and management are happy with my work. I have tried to switch into the same domain in another companies but they are expecting me to lower down the salary, and then I came to know that this job role doesn't yield much and growth is dead end. So, I am looking to switch into Devops since I find it interesting after exploring other options. May I ask whether it is possible to make a switch after 11 years in the IT industry and how much realistically it is possible? I would appreciate your suggestion and feedback. Thank you

Hey everyone, happy to answer any questions around Data Science/ML/AI and making a career within it A brief about me, I work currently as a Sr. ML Engineer at an Indian unicorn startup I graduated 5+ years ago and have since worked as a Data Scientist / ML Engineer at an ecommerce company and social media company. My designations have changed based on the industry requirements and work too changed based on that.
