I applied for a job which used workday. I created an account, entered all my work info and it took nearly 21 minutes to complete everything. I clicked Submit. 60 seconds later I receive the email saying "After careful consideration we regret......" My only wish is that the product team that created workday should end up in hell and they should be asked to apply for jobs that use only Workday. I can't imagine a cruel torture than this.

Hey folks, What methodology do you follow when you want to apply for a job? Like is it cold mailing, career pages , stalking hr , Glassdoor, naukri , linkedin, etc. What is your strategy and how do you track it. What is the success % (converted, interview, total applied)

Hi grapes, What's the best way to apply for jobs. LinkedIn, company portal or websites such as Naukri, indeed, TopHire etc. Folks who got multiple interview calls, can you share how you utilised all these to get there! Will cold mailing managers or HRs in linkedIn work? It feels clueless at times as I am not getting interview calls at all. Will mass apply AI tools found fruitful for anyone. All insights are appreciated. TIA

What has worked the most for you in getting your job application shortlisted? Please share your ways cause I am literally STRUGGLING Currently I am trying below things 1. Regularly updating naukri (activity level is good but very few HRs directly contact. Few send invites but ghost later on) 2. Sending cold emails to HRs and Engineers (very few refer, but then again status never changes from "in review") 3. Applying on portal directly About me : I have 3 YOE in data engineering working for a top banking client. Stack : PYSPARK, SQL, AWS S3, Hive, Hadoop, Linux scripting, python

I must have applied for dozens of jobs on LinkedIn job portal. At times companies don't reply or I mostly get automated rejection emails. PS - I'm someone with more than a decade and a half experience. So my target roles are a little senior.

Whoever is looking for a change in Product, do you guys have preferred platforms apart from the careersites and Linkedin that generally give you good traction from recruiters? Doing this for a survey to understand what channel would be more effective.

Hi all, I am thinking of creating a job board system which 1. scrapes the job data from the company's official pages 2. do not encourage third-party talent acquisition firms to spam with duplicate posts How do I make money? 1. Selling home page slots to the companies that promotes high visibility Do you guys think this will work?
To all the companies who use Workday for hiring, as soon as I see a job link that redirects me to Workday - I close the tab, cuss a few words and move on. Nothing more painful in the world than trying to fill a candidature form on Workday
