1.5yr in MBB post MBA, possible exits in current market?
The work hours are catching on, don't want to do 70hrs+ weeks. The promotion at 2 yr mark is also difficult (over hiring in our batch, not enough demand + not exceptional performance at my end). Doesn't make sense to stick around for another year at current comp and workload What are some exit options in the current market? How should I think about evaluating the career move

You have lots of exit opportunities, use your MBB experience to land nearly any role. Most of the unicorns post roles in corporate strategy , growth and product with tier-1 MBA and consulting experience as criteria you will definitely have an edge.
Same old:
Track role at a VC or Corp Strategy at a startup (Late Stage) or YOLO it and join founding team at a new startup/build on your own
Reminds me of an old joke.
The Big 4 (replace with MBB) are like a public toilet. The ones that queued up outside can't wait to get in. The ones that are inside can't wait to get out.

Switch to consulting roles in Middle East/ UAE (if you want to continue in consulting). Kearney/Strategy& was hiring a while back.
Don’t know the situation now.
Are there actually not a lot of good exit opportunities for 2+ exp MBB folks in this market? The comments make it seem so. Hard to believe.
Don't most MBB folks leave after 2 years? What are the usual opportunities that aren't available right now?
