Planned to switch technology

I'm a b sc graduate. I'm currently working in a company for 2.52LPA. In- hand is literally 17.2k. I completed two years in Feb 2024. Now I have 2 YOE but no proper skill, with no proper working experience. I going nowhere staying here in the current company. Should I resign now and upskill or Should I upskill,get another offer and then resign. Please pour your suggestions. Also, please tell which technology can I pick and start learning. I strongly feel like it's now or never.

It's been 6 years in the IT industry as a software developer working on both front end and back-end with different technologies.. Now I'm thinking of switching my career towards Machine Learning. Please put your opinions and advice.

I am looking for a job change, currently working as a Front End Developer using Angular Framework. I have around 8y of experience. I am an expert in Angular. I have a tech stack of Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, Nest Js, Node Js, PHP, React Js, Mongo db, Python Flask, MySql, Azure devops, AWS Code Commit, jenkins. I am very futuristic with good analytical skills. I have a strong understanding of requirements product wise. I have strong knowledge in suggesting design and development approaches as per the requirements. I do figure out easily if the requirements do not match with the technology or requirements is bit off/miss aligned with product can suggest the change accordingly. I am enthusiastic to acquire knowledge in new technologies for a change. Please let me know if you find any openings related to my tech stack. ,

I am a React.js Developer & have 2 YOE (6 months at a consultancy startup + 1.5 years in a service based MNC). I do not like working with React.js for multiple reasons & do not wish to pursue working with this further. I want to know what are some alternative career paths or technologies that are as much in demand & feasible to switch towards? Ideally, towards a more stable, battle-tested technology or tech stack and something that is as well paying too. (..continued from my original post) Some technologies that I considering are JAVA , ASP.NET & Laravel as unlike React.js, they are not loosely opinionated and don't have a constantly changing API where the way of writing code itself changes (e.g - redux and/or using data fetching libraries) . There is no standardised best practice to conform to. But, the problem is that I find Laravel jobs are not in use in corporates or large tech companies but apparently ASP.net core jobs are not as well paying for equivalent years of experience as that of a front-end React.js developer. TC - 8.6 LPA (2 YOE)

I have been working on Backend development with NodeJs & ExpressJs with databases like Mysql, pg, redis and rabbitmq and some parts of devops like k8s, gcp etc. for the last 3 years. Before that I was working as a C# developer for 2 years. Now I want to learn something challenging. I am done with creating websites and normal stuff. People are recommending different things like Golang, Rust, Ruby on Rails, Elixir or anything else. I want to get a global remote job next year. So what should I work on so that I can work accordingly. The competition shouldn't be that much and side projects should be enough to get a good job. Or give a good roadmap.

Hi, I have been working in Infosys for past 3.5yrs. my starting salary wad 5lpa and now it's 8lpa. I feel I should be compensated more based on work that I put into my projects for which the most feasible option would be to switch. Hence, I need some advice related to job-switching from fellow software engineers who have already been able to do that. My skills are Java-spring boot , react , sql, github copilot, kubernetes, What other skills do I need to know to be able switch comfortably? Kindly suggest some websites where I should be applying from. In the coming days maybe after March would be good time to apply, don't you think? What scope do I have in product based companies? TIA

To all the fellow UI, Frontend developers what roadmap or career do you see for yourself after working more than 10years into the field? Would you change your field to some new domain such as Data or AI? Management is one possible and common direction.

There are already a huge number of developers in mobile application development. To stay in job, I was thinking of making career shift to AI or ML by doing trainings into it. Is this thought process good?

Hi folks, I'm stuck here, I joined this organization a year ago. Still on bench. I'm from a mechanical engineering background. Know only the basics of Java, HTML, CSS, little bit of Javascript. Should I learn DSA along with Java and spring boot, mirco services or Javascript, react js. Or please suggest me other tech if they are feasible and would help to switch from my current organisation. If you have time, a roadmap would be very helpful. Please guide me on this matter. Thank you.

I am currently working in Accenture as a backend developer. Do you think its wise to change the technology at this moment. I have around 3 years of experience. And i am not getting any learning opportunities in my current company. Also what is the roadmap to learning Data Science?
