My ex-boss has held my relieving letter

Hi folks, I received relieving letter from EY GDS but it is password protected, in mail they have not mentioned the format of password. Can anyone please advise on what the password could be? EY Deloitte

Hi folks, It’s a very detrimental time for me. I have been working with an organisation I don’t want to name. My manager is beyond Toxic, each day there hasn’t been a single day he hasn’t yelled at me and few other new folks in the team regardless of us doing heavy sweeping. He is so Toxic that even through I have leaves he does not approve them, recently someone in my family passed away even through I discussed I will be out of station and would be on leave to which he agreed. He has rejected it on the 2nd last day, when I have booked the flights and assured my family that I will be there at this grave time when they need me. I am at a point where he has pushed me to a point wherein I don’t have an option but to resign which he did around the financial year closing so the increment will be divided amongst less number of people. I have an education loan to look after and responsibilities of my parents, I am the single breadwinner in the family at this point of time. Hanging in there is becoming really difficult. Any advice or help would really help.

I have all the proofs, call recordings, rule book, etc which states "I can either serve 3 months notice, or buyout the 3 months with pay, without any reasons asked", but now the HR is stating the policies have changed, and you will have to follow the new rules. We haven't been informed about the rule changes nor did we sign any new rule book. What should I do? I want to get a buyout without any trouble.

I was working in a toxic environment, which should be a separate post, too long to explain here, tldr, I was put in pip, and then I resigned and put my notice, I like a responsible employee started finishing off my projects and tasks, giving KTs to other folks and junior. but now after this my company is saying ur lwd is 2 days from now, when in my contract notice is 2 months, HR says company has the right to waive off notice period without paying severance. What can I do currently, I don't have any job back up, so have to be unemployed for a while without any severance. Is this legally right from company sides, what possible things can I do currently?

I have recently left Cisco. This post is a rant on how i feel while leaving I worked at CCBU. A department which is filled with incompetent dev and even more incompetent managers. Not surprisingly all employee were Wipro contractors who became full time due to sheer amount of time spent. Managers expect you to lick their ass to get promoted. Since i am non ass licker employee, i was never in his good books. While resigning my manager threatened that he will extend my notice period and gave me tasks to finish off if I "ever" wanted to leave I feel very happy leaving such shitty place. I wish never to return here again. At my tenure my growth has been negative, and I became lazy. Now trying to get out of this lazy zone in my next company Ps- I know there are good parts of Cisco as well. I just happened to be in the wrong part. This post is me venting out about my experiences. This time period where the company will solidify the reasons you were leaving them in first place 1. What is resignation approval? I am telling you and will leave after the contract period. Why do I need to take approval? 2. FnF You put your papers and starve for food and water till your last day. Where is it written that salary is not disbursed during notice period? and will be given after 45 days from leaving Almost 3-4 months without money! 3. Become the bad person Anything and everything that happened over last few years, it is because of the person leaving. I know you didn't ask for the advice, but please document everything on mail. You'll have to prove your integrity till the very last minute. P.S. I thought I was leaving because of less money, but it is definitely the toxic culture.

So, I've been struggling mentally from this company for the past few months due to their toxic policies and resigned last week! They didn't pay the retention bonus that was supposed to be paid in June stating the financial situation and now forcing me to complete the notice period also!(2 months) which is there in the contract but mentally I'm burnt out and have said the same to CTO as well as HR but they don't want to understand! I'm also unsure whether the salary of these notice period months will come( this company has a history of not paying) so, skeptikal in the serving notice period knowing I won't get any money. I want to have a lawyer who can go through my employment contract so I understand better the options I have with me! Any help is greatly appreciated please!!🥺

Going through something similar where the management has laid off 1/3rd the total team via forced resignation and without any severance. A bunch of folks who stood up to ask for reasons, severance etc are being threatened with termination and bad experience letter (and even lawsuits) Could really use your take if you or your colleagues have gone through something similar.
