Am I being underpaid for SDE 2?
I work for a Series A start-up in Bangalore. I have 5 YOE and my current base is 21 LPA and ~5L worth of ESOPs a year. Seeing Grapevine salary charts, I feel I might be underpaid. Should I negotiate or look for other opportunities or is the base I am getting now alright?

Where are you based? You think this is higher than what you expected for 5 YOE level?
No this is not higher for 5 yoe because my friend of 2 yoe have same but in ctc this is the range for 2-3 yoe in pune mumbai

I'm 3.5 YOE and getting no more than 8LPA
Recruiters ask current CTC and offer CTC + 1L only. So getting 20LPA is just a dream to me

Do offer shopping and squeeze as much as you can from it then a switch after 6-8 months

Full stack. Pretty much tackling the architecture as well.
It should be around 45LPA even my cheap ass company is paying me so less and treat us like a robot.
They have no shame even after doing so much hardwork they behave like a cheap. And saying this is not done that is not done.
You dont have bandwith you dont have clarity what you want. After building the features saying this should not be like this what were you doing when I was building the feature.
Bro dont give everything they will just use you. You are your own in this world. Do want to want to do.
If you are working for 8 hours or more in a day as an SDE-2, which i am guessing you are, then you are unpaid . You can easily get upto 40

Base should not be less than 35 for your yoe if you are above average
