i see a lot of posts asking for referrals  
 will having a separate section limit its visibility? i mean ppl except those who want a referral might not even open it...

I just would be a serious space, I certainly don't like when I see someone asking for a referral in the Casual section 😂

1. If I need referrals from someone, there is no way to get it without disclosing my email in public.

2. The best time to scroll reddit is when you are in a meet. For that I use desktop version of reddit.
Is there an option to have web version of this app?

3. Also I feel there are very limited groups can we add groups like referral and avl jobs?

How did you started grapevine and manage community effects, did you go to paid channels? Do you believe in grow fast or die or growing slow in community apps is also fine since credibility comes with size of community. What are the effective channels we can explore apart from twitter and instagram?

A question to Grapevine Founder/team

I mean its so hard to get a referral or is it just me? Basically,

1. Everyone on linkden is basically an influencer, though with a legit experience and ofcourse technical skills, its more like everyone is just there to flaunt and I practically see no one actually being helped or helping.

2. Only on a personal level, I guess having met them, do people take you seriously, that still is a low probability.

So my question is, if you were an average Joe in this job market, how would you approach people to have them actually land an interview let alone be selected?

Where do you guys get referrals from?

Here in the grapevine app itself i got several referrals. All the interviews I am attending now are firm referrals. Whether I clear the interview or not is second. But I could see many folks coming up to help by giving referrals. If we get selected its win-win situation we get the job and they get money too.

Since we have become one of the thriving communities since the last year, I wanted to request a feature where someone who has been regularly interviewing for the company he is present in can specify what is being expected from a candidate going for an XYZ position. This can help a lot of people in last min prep for the companies knowing what all to focus on.
