MBA fresher

So I graduated from a Tier 1 college (non IIT NIT) in May 2021, majoring in CS, and got a job as a Software Engineer. And then just after a few weeks changed to a more CS based good named company. Gonna complete a total 2 years of experience, but not feeling if I want to be in the same profession my entire life (even if I consider becoming an Engineering Manager at some stage, that would easily require me first taking atleast 5 more years as an SWE). Not like I don't like coding etc. but feels like this ain't for me. So at this point I'm confused if this is my current job that I am feeling like this and it would get better if I change (there was a false alarm like situation that happened when I started this job, so could be a bias), or go back to school to do an MBA (lately I've been getting attracted to it like a magnet) Even if I go for an MBA, I would want to try hands on on various specialisations (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Strategy), but will keep a good enough focus on Product, my prior tech knowledge could help me. Looking at both options, I've been in a dilemma since a very loooooonnngggg time, unable to decide which one to choose. Any people who've been in similar situations, can you please help me out ?

My mother has mobility issues and suffers frequent falls am due to slipping down and this is the 4th fracture in last 5 years. These fractures require long healing period and requires surgery mostly. I am living in a tier 2 city with my wife and son due to this reason. But she suffered a fall and fracture recently and I am kind of fed up. Not living in a tier 1 city makes me odd one out. No chance of networking and I want growth in my career and want to lead a team etc. but guess this choice of staying with parents makes me feel lost from the crowd can’t connect with my peers. I have an MBA from reputed insti but not able to meet my classmates also. Don’t know how else to vent out my frustration so just pouring out here

I am working in a founder's office role. Seekhne ko bahut kuch hain lekin kuch certainity nahin ki future mein kya hoga. Sochta hu CAT ke liye prepare karlu lekin time commit nahin kar pa raha alas ke chakkar mein. Ek khayal yeh bhi ata hain ki experience leke MBA karo jyada better hain ek khyal yeh bhi ata ki padhai ke saath lage lagaye aage ka ho jaye to better hain. Dosto se baat ab bahut kam ho gayi kyoki wo log bahut busy hain 😂. Bas aaplog batao kya chal raha.

I’m going to join an MBA college this year. I’ve 2-3 months of available time before the session begins in either June or July 2024. Currently, I’m learning Excel and PowerPoint as recommended by almost everyone I’ve asked for advice. Besides this what skills, certifications etc. should I learn in order to enhance my CV(My major specialisation is going to be in marketing). I’ve also got to know that certifications don’t have much value since you cannot mention those in your CV. So is there anything I can do as of now which will help me to strengthen my CV. Please don’t tell me to relax and chill because my academics are below average and I’m going to face issues during my MBA journey so I want to utilise these 2 - 3 months in a productive way so that it gives me headstarts for my MBA journey. Also any advice on how to make the most of my MBA journey, including specific actions to be taken during the program with a focus on achieving a successful placement would be greatly appreciated. I'm a Tier 2/3 MBA grad (not sure if it's 2 or 3), but central university Recently my contract was terminated and have been spiraling since then. Even considered taking up intern roles. No reason tbh My position is comfortable as expenses are limited and have about 6 months of funds. On hindsight, I think it is a great opportunity to flip my story, to never be in such a position But brain feels fogged, really want this MBA brain to be put to work Can you help?

I'm an arts major working in the communications space, planning to do an MBA. I've GMAT focus books and English seemed doable on my own. I've been using online resources to study Math but I'm very confused as to what to study and how to study. So I've decided to go for a coaching but I've no idea which coaching is actually good, especially for someone who doesn't come from engineering or other Math background. Jamboree is charging over a lakh for coaching plus counselling on admissions while there's Y axis which is charging much lower at about 50k but doesn't have many reviews. I also read reviews on Jamboree being the typical marketing institute and not worth for money. Has anybody actually taken up or know anyone who has taken up GMAT coaching that helped them? It's critical I start preparing now if I have to start my MBA in 2025. As there are a lot of business folks here, I would appreciate any genuine help you can send this way. Thank you
