APM Interviews

I've been working as an APM at a startup for about 6 months. I kinda fell into the role. Was a developer previously for about a year. So in total about 2 years of industry experience. As an APM, I've not gotten a lot of opportunities to work on hands on PM stuff. My line manager isn't a great mentor and despite having conversations with him to give me more product related tasks, my situation has not improved. What should I do? Will I be able to land another APM or a PM job elsewhere?

Looking for referrals for an APM role. I have a strong background in Product and I come from Tier-1 college. Would appreciate community's help!

Hi everyone, I'll cut right to the chase I have had 6 months of experience as a product intern and I'm trying to get into an APM role for the past 3 months. I have not been able to get any interviews or calls for an APM role. The only calls I get are for product intern roles. Is 6 months of experience not enough to move into a full time role??? I've done my engineering, completed my MBA from a tier 1 institute yet I'm not being considered as a qualified candidate. The past 3 months have really taken a toll on my mental health and everyday feels like a burden. I would really appreciate if you all could guide me on what to do because I have no clue where I'm going.

I currently have 1.5 years experience (similar to a product owner), and I'm looking to formally transition to a product role. Lost my job at a small startup a few months back. Was working as an APM there with a total of 18 months work ex as an APM. Did my MBA and 2.5 years as a data analyst prior to that. Unable to get any interviews so far. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hey Folks I have been trying to break in product via APM roles but finding it hard to make it happen. I have a marketing background so that adds to the complexity I am wondering if I should keep trying via APM or learn to code so Frontend or design for 1-2 years and break in via internal switch.

Im not at all happy at my current job. There is no sense of respect & recognition whatsoever. I feel like im stuck between multiple excel sheets. There is no core product work happening.
