Is there any logic or reason as to why platforms allow liking your own posts? If so, should people do it? Does it help in anyway?

Hey Folks, the goal with Grapes was for you to get a small token of appreciation from other members of the community when they like something you’ve done. But today you only get Grapes when you receive likes on your posts/comments and when you verify your company. How can we expand the definition of Grapes to reward all the awesome things you do on Grapevine? All ideas welcome

How did you started grapevine and manage community effects, did you go to paid channels?
