3 month long Solo workation Tips?

Dear remote workers on Grapevine, have any of you been on a 2-3 month long workation spanning multiple cities? I am planning to go on one and cover south of India - Coorg, Chikmaglur, Gokarna, Hampi, Kochi, Alleppey, Munnar, Wayanad, Pondicherry.

Am I being to ambitious? I think I can manage 1-2 weeks or more at most of these places. Will stay in hostels - easier to make friends there + it’s cheap.

Any tips?

All these places are equipped with zostels, local well run hostels and crazy airbnb's. Since ur looking for long run, comfort zone in food, internet n sleep is much important. Based on ur standard of living u can't opt for staying. Now lemme give some tips.

  1. Select few instant protein or energy supplement (organic/chemical/ natural/ Miller based) vo tum dekhlo. Maintain good protein intake.
  2. Target standard menu items like rice, dal, roti, rajma, etc.
  3. One meal of local cuisine is mandatory to keep the explorer alive.
  4. Carry hiking or long run shoes to make sure ur sorted. Carry water bottle, make sure u don't buy water n drink from local places. Let the body feel the difference in tastes of water.
  5. Walk more barefoot on EARTH, not on road or floor.
  6. Travel lite, pack n sort them on a category basis.
  7. Rey to carry things which doesn't need charging like battery watch, wired earphone.
  8. Things that help u - Swiss knife, battery headlamp, cap, raincoat/umbrella,

@Whelmit heyy thank you, this is pretty sound advice. How do you suggest to manage finances? I don’t want to exceed 30k per month (food + commuting + stay included), but I’m not sure if it will suffice
