cred is like those "dosa corner" shops at every locality in Bangalore. They would just top the dosa will anything the can lay their hands on and call it innovation.

I like the fact that there is a company that keeps it's design and design team front and center of the discussion, even with the scale they have achieved. You don't find that a lot in Indian startup scenarios.
Also more than the designers, I praise their engineering team for pulling such incredible interactions and UI.
What's the point of keeping the design team in the front when the app itself is not usable lmao. When asked why their UX is shit all the designers there have only one answer that is we don't care about UX, we only care about the UI. Clowns

🤣🤣 not only that. Everytime I open the app which I rarely do now, everything is changed. Some new feature, placement of buttons etc etc. Just pathetic experience overall

Considering the shit most of us are doing in corporate- cred has an opinion and an intention which they have executed. Tbh, more than design I marvel their engineering teams.
We can talk about usability issues and 100 other things. But this is what design led feels and look like. Weather it’s sustainable model both business and operation wise, only time will tell

Best use case of the app 👏
Cred's design? A bit like a Bollywood movie, too much masala. But remember, even masala movies have their fans. "Har kisi ka apna taste hota hai."
"It feels like flushing it down the toilet 🚽. If there were a button on the Play Store to temporarily delete an app, I would have surely pressed it."
Simplicity of use wise Cheq app is better, but rewards are equally bad in both.
