ULIP disinvestment

So, a banker sold me ulip product 4-5y back. Made almost 2x profit. But now I am thinking to park this money somewhere else...it's tax free btw ( 80, 10 X D) Options are many and am confused 🤔 Can anyone help me... I am thinking to buy agricultural land or direct stocks. ( But market is at all time high)

HDFC mba wealth mgr are bullshit...they always suggest to reinvest in ulip. Surprisingly, I can't buy HDFC opportunities fund from HDFC website but Groww offers that at very low expense ratio (direct fund)

ULIP yielding 2x in 4-5 years, is it real? Buying agricultural land can be good decision if you have someone to take care of it. Capital gains would be absorbed. Markets might be all time high but some blue chips are at fair valuations.

ULIP investment worth it??

I have been receiving calls from HDFC to opt for ULIP plans. I didn't know much about it. Now I knew after much discussion with their fund manager and research on internet. What worries is the charges. The plan HDFC recommended had 12% premium allocation charge for 1st year itself and other charges after that. Still want an option if it is worth an investment and if any other bank or service that offer better ULIP plan.

Bam! Over next 5 months stock crashed ~50% 🥲

How do you invest your salary?

It's been close to a year since I am earning a salary and this is what I do: 1. Invest a little less than 30% straight into MFs. I have three ongoing SIPs- small cap, flexicap and a Large + Midcap fund. (Planning to increase the amount further into these and not start a new sip) 2. Max out 80C by putting the entire limit in PPF, this is on top of what is by default deposited into EPF. 3. A little (inconsistently) into direct stocks as and when I find or get to know about a decent trade opportunity. 4. An LIC ULIP plan that my father made me subscribe to 🙂 (hopefully will end in a couple more years) Tips from experienced folks will be much appreciated.😄

Guys I have land worth 2.16acres where approx 45 30*40 sites can be constructed and currently per plot of 30*40 selling somewhere to 15-18lakhs Is it good idea to sell all in 1/2years? Get retired while keeping 50% FD and 50% in Nifty 50? And do freelance or remote small work which I really care about???
