I wouldn't take it at face value but it does makes me question all tier 1.5-3 MBA colleges who after decades of existence are utterly worthless in providing students good opportunities.

Placing a smaller batch is a fairly easy task. Things go south as the batch size starts increasing.
Iim indore every year has good number of students struggling to find a job
This year around 100 students at iimb were left without a summer internship.
The average breakup of the 34lacs would be interesting to know. Take every B school placement report with handful of salt(barring iim a)
The IIM B thing is just sensationalised. They have a batch of 600. 100 remained after the placement week. They extended it, probably all will get an internship.
No boss, had talks with their placement members. Now only sales companies are coming.
I don't understand why the heck even MU is a B School. It takes fucking years of research, hardwork, legacy and consistent quality to even go into the league of SPIJMR, NMIMS and these MU guys think themselves greater than IIMA,B,C !!! Have a colleague in another team who did from MU and is now a normal executive, kinda sales role. It takes years and years to build trust in B Schools.
Harvard, Stanford werent created in 1 - 2 years, hundreds of years, best students, research made them to the top !!!

Razorpay offered a new offering which other legacy providers did not have. MU is offering an MBA degree only that has been present since decades. If Razorpay also offered the same product as legacy companies, do u think corporates would have used it?
Now u will argue that MU offers a different type of MBA grad. Read this before u start typing that. Razorpay offers a tech product. Hiring top engineers and creating a quality product with new type of features is a good way to gain credibility. Since the product quality depends on 2 things : features offered and quality of code which depends entirely on hiring top class engineers by offering top tier pay.An MBA grad's quality depends on 2 things : most importantly the students own capabilities and secondly knowledge. For knowledge there are plenty of sources today but aptitude and capability is inherent. Sorry for my harsh words, but MU students don't have the same latter quality as top bschool grads, otherwise they would not go to MU. Is there anyone in your batch that had an admit from a top 15 school and still went to MU? Also unfortunately for MU, unlike Razorpay, they can't pay and get the top bschool tier talent to enroll in their programme. Unless they improve the quality of the students, they can't command the same respect as top tier b school. Students and alumni are the most important driving factors of a bschool's fame
