Should I Join Swiggy as an ASDE Backend?

Hi Community, I am a 2023 CSE Grad from Tier 1, Currently I am an Automation Engineer at Sprinklr and I recently received an offer from Swiggy for the role of ASDE backend, before joining Sprinklr as an Automation Engineer, I interned in a startup where my tech stack was backend. But the Swiggy compensation is not matching what I am currently getting in sprinklr. Should I join Swiggy or stay at Sprinklr and look for a better opportunity than Swiggy please suggest!!!!!

Please don’t. You will be exploited like anything. Yes, you will learn a lot but the compensation which you’ll get is way below average. Not worth switching. If you can get an offer from Swiggy, you can get other offers as well with a much higher pay.

Swiggy is at its lowest in terms of tech culture. The only thing is you will learn a lot at the expense of your mental health and personal time. I see you are working as an automation engineer, if you think you won't be able to join any other company as a backend engineer, then you can think about it. Things to note, the sde-1 salary won't be matched even if you perform very well. ASDE position is created so that swiggy can hire folks with less compensation. If you are joining swiggy, learn whatever you can, then make a switch after 1 year or depending upon how things go for you

I am fresher graduating in 2024. Having a Full time offer (8lpa) and intern offers from Groww & Swiggy.

I am not able to decide which one to choose. The Groww internship is guaranteed that if I perform well I will get PPO(15 LPA) and swiggy one is dicy if even it does have PPO. Since only one more month is left for my graduation, taking any of these internships will require me to leave the FTE offer. Any suggestions fellow developers??

Is it good to switch to an automation role from SDE?

Currently I am working as an SDE - 1(8 base) in gurugram, I received an offer for an automation engineer role from Sprinklr (16.5 base). I am 2023 grad from IIIT and have a good knowledge of DSA and System Design. Some days back I received an SDE-1 offer from a Singapore stealth startup(13 base) but couldn't join them. Now I have this offer, I am still looking to switch to SDE-1 position, but due to the market situation not getting enough interview calls. So is it advisable to join an automation role and look for the SDE roles in parallel? since I believe that sprinklr tag will help me in getting the opportunities but I don't know whether my resume will be shortlisted for the SDE roles if I have an automation role in my resume. Please give your honest opinion and help me to make the decision..
