Pune for a week

Hi folks! I am planning a week long trip to Mumbai in July. Please suggest some places to visit. Where should I go for night life/parties or clubbing? Is it a wise decision to go to Lonavala/Mahabaleshwar/Marethan at this time? Also if you could suggest some offbeat or less crowded hill stations/ beaches in either Mumbai or Pune.

Can someone tell me which places to explore in Pune on weekends?

I have spent most of my working life (about 17 years) in Pune barring a few years outside India for an onsite assignment. During the initial phase of my career I was always desperate to relocate to NCR which is close to my hometown, say 12 hrs by train or road, unlike 24-36 hrs from Pune. However I feel a bit confused now about it. I am not sure how easy/difficult and stupid/wise it would be to make a move now. Any suggestions feedback?

What are the best places that can be visited this summer for weekend trips 4-5 days would also work if the place is worth exploring.

These days making long weekend plans are mostly futile due to heavy traffic and long queues. Still drop in comments as what are your plans. I am going to go on a hike tomorrow and will just be potato couch for next two days.
