Professionally learning AI

I’m a mid-career generalist with most of the experience in Operations roles. I believe that upskilling in AI is very important. Looking forward to your suggestions around courses that are a) helpful in building knowledge grounds up b) fairly recognized by the recruiters and adds value to the CV. I am a software engineer with 11 months of experience. I have no interest in testing field and wanted to work in development roles from the start but my org forced me to work as an integration tester. Now I am planning to upskill and jump. I have great interest in cloud field and believe that it is an emerging field, but I am told that AI/Gen AI is also very good field to go in. Although l don't have any particular interest in AI and always thought that it is not easy to get good paying AI related jobs for beginners like me, I am ready to pursue, if told otherwise. Please give me some advice/guidance as to which field I should choose as a fresher that has good learning and future scope and pays good. Any advice/guidance is appreciated 🙂.

Hey I was wondering if anyone can help me know what skills do I need to learn if I need to make my career in Machine Learning. I'll tell you my current situation. I know the theory part of ML. I have written a research paper on Semi Supervised Learning with a professor in my college.(I am writing another one). So academically my professor is urging me to continue doing research somewhere for another 3 years of my bachelor's degree and then apply to any company after my PhD. but I don't think I want to. So I am seeing this AI developer roles on LinkedIn but they are looking for developers with a basic knowledge of ML and AI. Where should I apply and for what roles?

How long would it take to learn Ai/ML from Scratch for fresher

It's a every day news that software companies are adapting A.I. I have a doubt around that. As a developer everyone is aware of 2 or more programming languages and as we work we gain domain skills along with software development tools, devops, qa etc. I wanted to understand how AI is finding its place in software companies I mean in what part of our daily work will AI comes in. if anyone has an example and explain that would be great. also as a Software developer how should I being AI learnings.

Hi I am 2024 passout CSE B.tech and I am unplaced, I am planning to take course in Hyd or Bangalore but confused to select which tech stack to learn. Please suggest me which course to take and get job immediately which is trending in 2024 and 2025

I've done my Btech in EC from NIT. Worked for 2Y as a dev in IT Services co. Then I did my MBA from one of the old IIMs. Got placed as a "Consultant" in one IT services co, where JD said the role is client facing and business centric. Have been working here for close to 2Y. Basically I'm part of an Agile project team, as another Dev/QA resource. I basically do QA for project releases and occasional SQL scripting. Tried internally to switch to a Project/BA role but this experience is hindering me. Outside it's even worse as I don't even get shortlisted. I believe I have good skills to excel in Product/BA/Project roles. But not getting them as I don't have any prior experience. My confidence is very low now and my career seems to go nowhere. The pay is also worse, 21.6LPA currently ( of which 17.6 is fixed). I'm not complaining and this money is a lot for most people. But it's not even close to what my juniors after 2 batches earn. The only upside in my job is no pressure and can work remotely most days. What should I do ? Shall I learn AI/ML and move to an Individual Contributor role ? How to get shortlisted for these after prep? Any advice or leads would be helpful, TIA.

Hi Everyone, I seriously need some inputs, I am planning to switch to a different technology. Currently I am in a Support project and willing to learn Azure Cloud and Azure OpenAI. I want to know what the prerequisites are for it. Do I need to learn coding C# or python for it?. Will Azure Open AI jobs have good packages and sustainable jobs for the next few years?. Pls advise. please 🙏🥺
