I am currently working as SDE 1 in Amazon from 2 years. I have around 3 YOE. I do not see my manager vouching for my promotion. I am trying to switch companies. I cannot apply to Google for 1 year as I wasn’t selected even though my interviews went well. What other companies can I apply that pay equally well ?
Coinbase, Rubrik, Broadcom. All these pay handsomely, although they have little or no worklife balance.

As Sde1, your yearly TC would be around 28-30 at max.
At 3 yoe, you will get sde2 roles and any decent product based company/unicorn can pay more than your current TC.

5 yoe(1.5 at G). Currently L4 at google roughly 80LPA.
Boring ass work, no technical complexity. L4 to L6 sde's seem to just kiss ass of each other.
Promo will be purely beuracratic and that too of no benefit heard internal promoted L5...
