Varun went to Google I/O and met with Sundar Pichai. What are your thoughts on the teaser they have just posted? Google feels iffy to me every 2 years I work here. Personally, feel like there's not a lot to learn here just a lot to earn, seen multiple folks move around various products just to freshen up the vibe yk? Saw Varun's teaser and he's asking some good questions but from what I know about SP, he's probably going to land a diplomatic CEO response. What do you think folks?

Very interesting. 🧐 The guy sold his startup for an SPMs salary on the US to this edtech by GM called UA. Then became the greatest AI showman with a standup comic called TB after years of shilling web3 and crypto. 🥶

Hot Take: Google will not exist in next 30 years

Atleast not in the form it is now. Found a rare good post on LinkedIn via Twitter which lists the reason why i think so. Also, I was reading psychology of money and one of the chapters discussed how GE used to be the most valued company in 2000s and how within 20 years, everything went to manhole. Google is seriously going through a leadership crisis. I hate Pichai from the gut. We Indians like him coz he's brown munda, but I have never seen such narrow minded CEO since Balmer.

Is it a good time for early in career(1.5 YoE) to join Google India. I am curious about their current culture like WFH policies, management outlook, direction of company, growth opportunity etc in Bangalore offices only. What can you tell as an insider to someone on the outside looking at Google for possible next switch. Also, are there opportunities to shift from Bangalore to other location outside India?

Is Mesa School of Business worth the investment (time, money, etc)

Context: I do have an offer - to join the second cohort. I have 1.5 years of work ex at micro impact fund. Currently I’m working with a great early stage fund as an intern in the investment team.
