Wipro CTO Subha Tatavarti Resigns to Pursue Opportunities Outside Company

Seen quite a few top/mid level exits in Tata Digital over the past two years. Is the tech and Product teams actually good enough? Or is it something related to process/culture?

Cleared all the rounds and even sent the HR the documents they asked for. They also said I would have to relocate to Mumbai. However it's been more than a week and they haven't rolled out an offer letter. HR said that since they invested so heavily in IPL, they are trying to reassess their budget for this quarter, that's why it's taking so long. Should I be worried? I have a feeling that I even if I get an offer they might try to lowball me/lay off later.

Just wanted to give some updates now that it has been 1 month since the last post 1) Senior Leadership from Tech (3) , a senior director from Product , Finance Head have all resigned. Strategy team has been dissolved. 2) There are more people in the pipeline and will get more clarity by month end. 3) Everyone over the CTC of 60 lakh has been asked about the revenue that they bring in and based on that, their position is being reconsidered. 4) All contract workers have been terminated. Interns have been told that they won't be receiving PPOs. 5) Senior Management Has been asked to take 20% paycuts. 6) Even at Junior level, people have been asked to take pay cuts or resign. 7) Lots of tools used in tech are being removed and AWS subscription has also been revised. Meanwhile HRs have been celebrating on slack channels that Yubi has been ranked in Top 25 companies for career development :/

Read this news on X that Wipro is laying off senior level staff with high packages. In IT if you are at a role of delivery manager with 15-16 years of experience and 40-50 lacs package. Finding a new job is very very difficult. In my previous company a Director was fired and he was not able to find a job and ultimately had to retire. Lucky for him he went to onsite and had good savings. But now there are not many onsite opportunities and savings rates are low. If this happens with Millennials don't know what they will do.

I have 20 lpa offer from wipro. Currently earning 13 lpa in cognizant. Which is best. Is it okay to move to wipro for highest package? Or should i stay in cognizant and negotiate.
