Day of a fresher

How to get an initial role at an organization i want ( real estate/infrastructure consulting MNCs ). I have been trying to connect with people at these organizations and a very few percentage of these respond and try to help. But they DONT hire freshers My question is what should i do that will help me get over this.... Any help appreciated.

How do you guys get interview calls off campus? I've been trying to get a job for the past few months, solved numerous DSA and yet , it feels like recruiters don't even look at my resume. Let's help each other and list all the strategies we know down in the comments. My story : So I landed an internship (Algo Intern) at a lifestyle company (which is kind of a tech company) 5 months ago, and have been looking for a job ever since. I did get placed at a smaller company during college, but I took a bet and rejected it because I thought my company would convert my internship once it received further funding. It's safe to say I lost that bet. Ever since then, whenever I receive an email, my heart skips a beat, thinking, maybe, just maybe, it's an email regarding an interview. It feels just like those moments when every potential notification could be from your crush – your heart races a bit faster, your eyes dart to your phone, and anticipation tingles through you.

Had Accenture ASE offer in hand and our campus had the one job rule.Tried off campus but not even a single reply till today ,What should a fresher do keeping in mind that recession and layoffs are happening?

I have been seeing people complaining how referrals,carrer portals,emails,linkedin etc ,none of these are helping them get shortlisted or get an offer. So for people(or their friends)whose organization are hiring or did hire people, which route is being taken. Though I want to know in context of freshers but I think any experience level will be nice as it will help other people too. Thank you.

So, today was my first day in corporate. Joined a company that i hate the most, the government job company. During the induction itself, I experienced shitty HR (including all their internal depts) policies and their shitty rules. They literally told new joiners that they are going to force associates to take up the project, no matter what tech stack you want to work in! what domain do you want to work in! Now, you may ask why did i join them in the first place? Well, the current job market for freshers is just too bad! Graduated in may 2023, spent past 4 months trying to get an interview, but never landed any (when applied with referrals HR said they want 4+ YoE, and also the struggle to get referral. got 2 replies on an avg per 40 DMs (<500 followers) per company, that too after expiry.) In the past 1.5 years, I've cracked OAs and tech rounds of fintech like phonepe and juspay, but final rounds went south due to ghosting and a bit of politics from the college side (i know this because I had some friends working for placement officer and also i confronted that officer). Hence, 4 jobless months led me to join this organization. Please help me structure plan to get a good offer and leave this organization in 4 months.

Current Situation of Freshers is, There are job openings on linkedin,naukri etc, but after applying we aren't receiving any call back or get rejected in interview even if performance is good. Even oncampus hiring is low, so when can we expect the market turn positive for fresher hiring (oncampus & offcampus) ? Experienced HR's,Managers or SWE's your insights are valuable during this tough times. Let us know the actual scenario & when can IT Jobs turn constructive towards freshers.
