Boss off hours shenanigans

There is a senior colleague from another team who calls me on my mobile or on whatsapp whenever I do not reply to him on Slack. Sometimes post 9pm. Even when I have set OOO status on my slack and teams. The reason I do not reply to him is because he wants favours for his work. It's purely a lack of skillset. He doesn't google but expects me to spoon feed him. I initially helped him, but he has taken me for granted. Eventually, I stopped replying to his messages whenever such requests came. I do not ignore the important requests. What do I need to do? Any suggestions?

It can be either a strange workplace policy, an altercation with a manager or absolutely anything else.

So one of my junior teammate always asks for help for few things. Actually he and some other folks don't have access to few portals and tools on Azure and Databases due to security policy. While all the other folks who need access to same tools, do consiser the fact that I might be busy with my own work and ask for time when to connect. But this coworker starts a huddle out of nowhere, expects me to login at 11:00 PM at night, just messqges hello/hi without any context and doesn't stop messaging until I reply. He also talks in a manner like he's doing me a favor. I know that me having access to tools means I should always unblock others, given it's not there fault they don't have access to it. My manager even tried to get them access but the security team to paranoid. How to deal with this. Am I being rude here?

Work from home (WFH) has been really beneficial for me in terms of the flexibility it offers. I can manage my chores better, spend more time with my loved ones, and even travel while working remotely. But lately I have been getting bothered with the expectation to always be available. Gone are the days when one could “log out” in the evening and fully BE PRESENT where they were. These days, I get pings on Slack or WhatsApp messages for the smallest of things on late evenings and even weekends. It’s like work has slowly creeped into quality personal time. I love being present in the moment and this culture does not afford that option.

An HR from Infosys just contacted me on WhatsApp and asked about my details I told them I am comfortable talking on a call rather because I will explain better about my past job profile and other details and that shameless person showed attitude and blocked me.

Rant I have this person who has been nominated as POC from New Zealand. I have been trying and chasing the person to schedule calls, and till now I have rescheduled 4 times because he is now showing up on the time slots HE communicated. Even though I adjusted my work schedules according to his time slots, given I start my work as per USA timing. That's highly unprofessional. It goes like- Me: Hey! Let me know what time suits you? Him: my calendar is free from so and so. Please schedule 😃 On the day of call Him: Hey can you reschedule to * absurd timings which don't suit IST* Or Him: I'm unable to join, my calendar is blocked I'm so frustrated. I have messaged him ( in corporate speak) that I have already rescheduled so many times based on your schedule ( which you communicated) I would appreciate it if you show up. I am already working beyond my standard working hours for you.
