How's Mesa School of Business?

They are heavy on branding and showing it as the B-School if you want to work at Start-ups? I want to work at a VC firm in investments team.So if the cost is justified even if it's only for connections at major VC firms. Or should I look to get into the traditional 2 yr MBA program? Cat : 96.8x Work Ex : 1 Yr as SDE Education: Engg from Tier 3.

Probably another stoa school in the making. Just focus on getting into Bschools that have good alumni networks.

Context: I do have an offer - to join the second cohort. I have 1.5 years of work ex at micro impact fund. Currently I’m working with a great early stage fund as an intern in the investment team. I have been having seconds thoughts about joining the program since few days. Eventually goal is to break into VC post the program. Would love to get candid thoughts and feedback? Thanks a lot!

Hi! I have a professional dilemma and would appreciate any thoughts, advice and experience you can share. I have a 5+ years in strategy consulting working for a Big4 - I like my work, team and the organisation Though, now I crave for some different experience - maybe work for startup’s or a VC firm I have been offered a job in a boutique investment bank - which works with startup’s in India My questions: 1. Data scientist —> MBA? Grass greener on the other side ?

I'm a 28-year-old guy currently employed as a data scientist at a Fortune 500 company, earning a respectable annual salary of 24 lakhs. Lately, I've been contemplating pursuing an MBA, but I haven't initiated my GMAT preparation yet. I'm wondering if it's a wise move to transition my career in this direction. I've heard that individuals with a tech background who graduate from IIM/ISB might need to begin their careers anew, typically with a salary in the range of 27 to 28 lakhs. Can you confirm if this is accurate?
