Does the college you do your UG at matter?

I just finished my 12th grade and I'm currently writing entrances right now. I don't expect to get into any of the top colleges and I'm quite certain I'll be doing my engineering from a private college. I'm not the greatest at studies but I love coding and I've already learnt python, java and SQL. Been doing courses to learn more languages and also to learn more about the ones I already know of. I already know I'm gonna spend most of my college days coding and making new stuff because it all seems really fun (some would say I haven't seen the real thing) Well my question is, will my college really matter when I try to get a job?
