My new year goals

And you know a thing about new year's resolutions?

Most people blame their failure to fulfill resolutions on a lack of time, resources, or motivation, or a loss of zeal after starting.

Edit : I was in bad state some months ago. I was suicidal.

I've not been doing resolutions for a while. I do two things instead: 1. I start doing things i want to do just before new years, so it just seems like I'm continuing what I'm doing, instead of starting a fresh. 2. I started doing themes instead after watching CGP Grey's videos on the same. (https://youtu.be/NVGuFdX5guE) Instead of focusing on getting into a relationship, which is not something you can control- you can instead make a theme for a "year of love", where you love people -friends, strangers, family, and if by the end of the year, you feel closer, you can call it a success. Try these out for 2023!

Learn Meditation. I have been doing Sudarshan Kriya taught by Art of Living and it really helps me keep stress at bay.

Life is short. Live everyday devoid of checkmarks to tick. Trying to cage yourself in these lists gives u purpose then go for it. But ur contentment should not be dependant on success or failure of them
