Showing 3 ads every 10 mins to users who have paid for subscriptions is silly and stupid. They are running out of ideas and happy to see Hotstar content moving to JioCinemas. Put an end to this nonsense

So recently stoa announced that they’re revamping their business. And for some reason everyone (other startup founders/ twitter folks) were supporting them and telling them not to get discouraged and to keep building and other shit. I’ve interacted with a few stoa students and they have nothing good to say about stoa. Apparently they were promised placements which no one got. Most of the people I know who did the stoa program, did it because they were sold the idea of getting a good consulting / founders office kinda job. The fees aren’t cheap for anyone coming from a middle class background. What pisses me off is why are we as a society encouraging such founders - like they sold something without being able to deliver which had a direct impact on the life of students. In my personal humble opinion these people need to be called out.

Nice to see the openness. Can't imagine how tough it is, to have been derailed by incorrect signals during the bull market. Man's sitting on a distribution of 2.4M on Insta. Recently heard Tanmay Bhat and Nikhil Kamath appreciate his work/journey, so there might just be something about what he's done that works. Asking purely - and purely - from his content's perspective. Are his courses worth it? If not, and if I'm to learn about personal finances, taxes, investing, etc., where else can I start?
