Do people featuring in the Scaler ads know that everyone hates their faces/voice ?

Edtech layoffs still continuing? Teams were asked to strictly work from home for today because of plumbing work going on in the office. Roughly 300 people were laid off in a townhall hosted by the founders.

Hi everyone, I'm currently working on an SAP MM-based project. Despite talking with everyone who could assist me in securing a development role, I've been told that, as an ASE, I can't switch to development. I'm worried about my career because I've always wanted to move to the development side, but I've been given a functional role instead. I'm considering enrolling in the Scaler Academy Software Development Course to transition to a development career. The course costs nearly 3.15 lakh. I would appreciate your thoughts on whether I should purchase the course. Additionally, I would like to know the recent placement data for Scaler, as they are only promoting the placement data for the 2020-2021 batch, which was audited by KPMG. They haven't mentioned the recent placement statistics. Please provide me with your valuable suggestions.

Saw a LinkedIn post for bashing UI/UX tutorial. This person spams more than Warikoo

So recently stoa announced that they’re revamping their business. And for some reason everyone (other startup founders/ twitter folks) were supporting them and telling them not to get discouraged and to keep building and other shit. I’ve interacted with a few stoa students and they have nothing good to say about stoa. Apparently they were promised placements which no one got. Most of the people I know who did the stoa program, did it because they were sold the idea of getting a good consulting / founders office kinda job. The fees aren’t cheap for anyone coming from a middle class background. What pisses me off is why are we as a society encouraging such founders - like they sold something without being able to deliver which had a direct impact on the life of students. In my personal humble opinion these people need to be called out.

Does taking course from scaler really helps as to what they portray? I am mobile app dev with 5 yoe, any suggestions should i enroll for thier courses and if yes then which one?

I have 8 years of experience in software and firmware development. Looking to upskill. I have been looking at courses in upgrad. But need some solid recommendations.

I was thinking to join data science course in scalar program. Quite expensive program hence please help me to say whether course is worth for beginners wrt course ,teaching and projects in the curriculum. Also whether they have a job placement after course completion and whether actually we get jobs . I am already 9 years experienced but from database and devops background not data engineering. If anything better course then scalar along with placement ,that also can be advised.Thanks in advance
