Hahahaha. I see young founder flauting generative AI bots and say that there is saving. But they failed to understand the limitations like Generative bots could lie and in absense of any governance and guard rails they could be jeapardizing their business and all this can blow up on their faces fairly quickly. :(

Customer support chatbots are useless. When shit has gone south you don't want to talk to a chatbot you want a real person to answer that wtf is going on
It's a well known fact but I guess the cost cutting benefits outweigh customer satisfaction.
Every single D2C company I have seen in past 5 years have replaced humans with OVR or chatbots.

Have used dukaan and it sucks. Had to shift back to Shopify. The support is crap and you have to literally wait for weeks to get anything done. And even after weeks they would come and say oh this feature can’t be built.
I don’t know why do they even compare themselves anywhere near to Shopify. They clearly have miles to cover.

When you actually read it like carefully, these are vanity numbers. Customer Resolution Percentage, Issue Resolution TATA, Customer rating on response missing hai. Mai iske gaand me dande dalta agar VC hokar ye pakadta to.

This is just harsh reality thats gonna reflect everywhere once large language models gets rolled into production everywhere.
Llms now understand data and context and hence the quality of the chatbot is gonna increase 100x from previous rule based chatbots.
Mostly customers want details like payment pending etc details which are neatly stored in schemas, no point in having a human if llms cant understand the question, execute a query and respond with correct data.
