Attend meetups or conferences..

You may try to organise a casual chat meetings within your group or teams. Mural is one platform which you can use it have a productive meeting with meaningful interactions. Such meetings once or twice a month would definitely help you build your network. Probably ask others how are they building the network as they being in a same boat. Conference are not that productive as most of the focus is on the learning outcomes from the conference. Search for slack groups, those too can be helpful
