You will need GST no to apply for this account. One of the benefit is - sometimes they have extra offers for business accounts.
Can use business account for personal orders also, they don't restrict and the support experience is better.
other difference I've noticed is, some additional discounts on consumables from paper to detergent.
one disadvantage is cannot exchange old items while purchasing electronic items.
But I guess we will be burdened with additional compliance requirements in form of filing GST returns, on top of paying advance taxes.

In simpler terms I meant to say if you have a friend/family with small business (assuming they use amazon business)
can ask them to create a user for you in their Amazon business account, it doesn't causes any trouble to original account holder.
It's not worth to do all the paperwork ground up to get gst number without any actual business to use these online perks.
It must be useful for a business that files GST returns. But not sure if it is useful for an individual.
