How safe is Gurugram ?

I am planning to switch jobs and I prefer tier 1 cities. I am from north india. I prefer Gurugram, Pune and Bangalore for my next job.

Need advice from someone living in Gurugram. How is life ? Is it a safe city in terms of crime rates ? How are local people and communities there ?

Been here in NCR most of life. You learn to pick up a sixth sense, while on road always trust your gut. Do not retort, even if you are right.

Else the places has great food, extremes of temperatures and lost of dust!

Metropolitan areas are usually as safe as Hyderabad or Pune etc. Don’t venture into the suburbs or rural areas (-gaon or -gram means village) and you should be good.

Are you a woman or man? If woman it’s not the safest , but yes keep in the city areas and you should be fine . For men it’s safe unless you get into a fight . The point is NCR common person is high on temper and ego . So you never know what will trigger anyone . IMO not the best place to be in if you have other options

Nahi hai safe mai gurgaon me 1 saal tha guarented bol raha hu safe nahi hai utna. Raat hote hi thoda bhi aise befikre jaise nahi ghum sakte aur pehli baat waha ke logon ke pass Paisa hai par badtameez hai bahot qki siksha nahi hai. Toh apne aapko tope samjhte hai. Ye mai sabki nahi bol raha hu, bahot acche log bhi hai par maximum aise hi hai.
