How safe is Gurugram ?

I am planning to switch jobs and I prefer tier 1 cities. I am from north india. I prefer Pune and Bangalore for my next job. Need advice from someone living in Pune. How is life ? Is it a safe city in terms of crime rates ? How are local people and communities there ?

I've been living in BLR all my life and been living in Gurgaon for about 4 months now because of company transfer. I thought BLR was bad until I came to Gurgaon. 1) The complete lack of apathy and compassion is off the charts here. People are so individualistic and small issues turn into huge fights. One example being a guy in a Fortuner hit my Hyundai hatchback from behind and screamed and made a scene when it was his fault and the guys all around supported him, I knew limited Hindi and I had to pay money to get the hell out of the place. 2) Climate and pollution: No words here. Extremely hot and polluted. 3) Rents have almost reached BLR levels or more 4) infrastructure: I thought BLR infra was shit but roads are non existent here and streets get water logged and stays waterlogged for 10 hours even after rains stopped lol. It feels like a dead City with no life, depressing and a concrete jungle.

I am currently WFH, but looking for new opportunities. Since most of the companies are now demanding on site, which is better for better growth, savings and learning? Gurgaon/ Noida or Bangalore?? Current Experience ~ 2 years

I'm a data science/analyst/engineer fresher from 2024 batch and have a 12LPA campus placement in Bangalore. I'm from a tier 2 North Indian city, but wfh will possibly limit my growth given how I'm just starting out. So I'm looking for hybrid options, preferably in Gurgaon so traveling is easy. Any leads?

Hi Guys, I am senior dev with 10+ yrs of experience. I am working remotely for last 3 yrs. I want to move to my hometown which is tier 3 city. The main purpose of moving is because my daughter can have company of my parents, saving money and slow pace life. The infra, schools and hospitals here are better then what i get in my area in Pune Has anyone moved to tier 3 cities in case of remote job? How has been experience so far? My only fomo is that what in the future i need to switch, will i be able to find the remote job easily? How hard it is to find the remote job?

I am switching company after doing 2 years of experience and I am from Rajasthan. I have 2 options of location 1. Pune 2. Gurgaon Help me choose between these 2 and advice/suggest anything related to these locations. Pros and Cons of living, renting, food wise, etc.

I recently got an offer and am planning to move to Gurgaon. I was trying to find an opportunity in Bangalore because I love this place, or maybe it’s just change I detest. But nothing worked out and here I am. Has anyone made the same move? Or maybe vice versa? Which place do you think is better and why?
