As the title says, I wanna know what's your highest percentage increase in salary in the same company. How can we increase our chances of getting a good increment? Is it just performance? Have you ever negotiated a salary increment? Would love to know!

So this recently happened with me. The list of job roles , I had discussed with the HR before getting into just jumped to twice. It's really surprising. So since past few days, I'm getting feeling that they are going to sack my manager and are going to promote me to his level. They have already started sharing sheets with me whose access I didn't had earlier. It's a team of 6-7 designers, and I'm senior among them. Now, if they promote me toh manage this team, how should I ask for hike? What important things should I highlight so that I can make a good case for myself? In this year's appraisal cycle, I got a good performance rating but bad hike and no promotion 😔 Currently multiple projects are highly dependant on me, and it will be difficult for the company to find a good replacement (Subtle flex, but it's true), and due to this I feel like I'm underpaid at my current level. Have you ever been in a similar situation? How did you negotiate a better salary? Should I look for a better offer outside and ask my current org if they can match it or resign? Because next appraisal/promotion will only happen a year later from now. Please share your experience of negotiating better salary at current org by getting a better offer outside, how did it go and what was the outcome?

I recently interviewed at an MNC and my interviews went great. They also gave a case study. At the time of final negotiation for salary, i asked for standard 40-45% hike. However they took some time and came back with an offer of almost 95%-100% and literally more than that if i include yearly fixed bonus component. This was a big surprise to me, and they states that we have done this taking care of pay parity, etc. I am very happy, However, i want to know is this common or happened with anyone else? Are there such good companies, people and HRs... Anyone having any thoughts on this?

Is it possible to negotiate for a higher hike during my appraisals? I’ve never done this. Just asking for opinion/advice.
