I find most of the companies hiring all the time. I got an interview this thursday with a small foreign startup. How did I get this interview? The founder posted they are hiring on linkedin. I sent my CV in dm and after a week, today I was told about the interview appointment. I also applied to another company on indeed.com and attended a phone call interview this morning. Sadly they needed different skills and HR posted similar skills due to which there was a bit of misunderstanding. I get a lot of calls from Naukri.com if I public my profile but their jobs suck. Applying on linkedin jobs is a waste of time as well unless you are directly talking with the hiring person. I think the reason for this is bad parsing by ATS. If you are filling up details in forms manually, you will have more chances of getting hired than submitting a CV in PDF. PDF is an unstructured format and sometimes ATS parses details wrong or incomplete from the PDF.
Let me know if anyone’s hiring Product Designers with 2+ years of experience. I know Hotstar, Postman, PropertyGuru, CoinSwitch, and Meesho are hiring at this level. But I prefer remote due to the situation at home.
