Given krutim has hardly spent time in industry to build anything substantial apart from copying bhasini andbhugging face LLM models and now hiring top brass with that hype? I read a couple of things that he wrote about travel & I can tell you that his knowledge is very shallow. Don’t even think he knows anything. People who are going to pay for AI don’t care about what point of view it has about the subject - that’s too broad. What it only needs to do is complete the task better. Who the fuck cares western pov when you are trying to just get it to write a code or something else?

Krutrim AI’s Beta launched, it’s a wrapper service of OpenAI

Last month, Krutrim AI had attained unicorn status for being the first indigenous LLM AI model of India. There was some hue and cry when it had distorted some historical concept of India. Today, the beta version was launched and upon pondering, it stated that it’s based of OpenAI’s LLM model…so they spent all this money & resources just a build a wrapper service. Frankly, this is just another scam & would lose credibility in a blink of an eye. Why do Indians lack innovation & just believe in simple copy pasting. Views are welcome.

Looking for insights into the interview for quite senior AI position at Krutrim. Has anyone gone through the loops yet, would appreciate some insights. They are claiming that they will match any salary, I am doubtful they will match US Salary in India, but I am very excited by the work they are doing, so willing to give it a shot.
